16 Prayers for My Grown Son

We pray that You cast your hand of protection over our son(s). Be with him as he makes his way through life, and guide his every thought and action to be to the glory of the Lord.

We pray that he might always find his way back to the Lord’s faith. We pray that his every decision is made with wisdom and kindness. Walk with him, so that he might never walk alone but with the light of the Lord.

We thank you for the eternal sacrifice of Christ so that our son may live in a world glorified by the word of God. We thank you for the gift of life, which has given us this wonderful son to spend our time with.

If they have hurt, heal them. If they have questions, answer them. If they lack, provide them with ample abundance in the light of the Lord.

We pray the protection of Christ over our sons, and ask that God helps to keep them safe now until forever.

Please strengthen their bodies and minds, so that they might heal to bring glory to the Lord. Please be with them, so that they do not have to face any pain or discomfort on their own, but can revel in the Lord’s love for them.

Show them the way, so that they might never stray away from the covenant we have made with You in faithfulness to the Lord.

Give our sons abundance, guidance and faith when they are most in need of it. Stand beside them, so that they might always take their next steps with wisdom and together with the Lord.
