8 Prayers For God’s Love & Protection

“Dearest Father God,
I thank you for your powerful and limitless love towards us. Thank you for all you have done, and will continue to do because of this love. I ask that you will shed your love abroad in my heart and fill me up with it by your Holy Spirit. As you do this, let this love flow through me to all men in the world, and let them see Jesus in my eyes everywhere I go. So that when the world is overwhelmed with darkness of hate, let me be among the remnant exuding your light of love today, in Jesus name, Amen.”

Right now, it is difficult to remember all this because sometimes I feel like I have disappointed you in more ways than I can count, as if I have nothing more to give and underqualified to ask for anything. In this darkness, Lord reach out and show me again that you are right here with me as you comfort me by your Holy loving Spirit, in Jesus name, Amen.”
